- E3 08: Packing and Preparation
- Posted 5 months, 3 weeks ago by Coop

Right now I’m sitting in HeyKidNiceRobot’s room as he packs his stuff and finished up some images for the E3 page (pictured above), waiting for my Gamertag to download on his system (which is so much quieter than mine is) and watching the clock (it's like 2:30am). Our flight leaves in a few hours and we are carpooling to MikeyRaw’s, where we are meeting Veggie Jackson to catch our 6:30am to Los Angeles California. I have spent the entire night biting me nails to an irreparable state, anxiously awaiting the trip I’ve wanted to take for nearly ten years. Checking, double checking, and triple checking my bags isn’t enough to quash my OCD, telling me that I forgot everything, and I really just want to be in Cali already.
Earlier tonight we went to Wawa for some nourishment, grabbing hoagies for ourselves and some tasty cakes for Jeff Rubenstein of the Sony Blog. While there HKNR noticed that the guy making our hoagie had an interesting tattoo, and was assembling our sandwiches with a certain powerful sense of wisdom and courage about him. He was kind enough to allow us a photograph, and we will forever remember the time we had food made by the holder of the triforce.

I just got an e-mail from High Voltage games, letting me know that our Conduit interview is a-go, which is good because I was looking for a way to convince MikeyRaw to buy something for his Wii. The game looks awesome, and is just another reason that I am excited for E3. I can’t see myself sleeping tonight, but will surely have a great nights rest tomorrow night in California after the EA Press Conference and Into the Pixel art exhibit. I’d say I was nervous about running around E3 without any sleep, but I don’t get much to begin with so I can’t say it bothers me that much. To be honest, the fact that my Gamer Profile is taking forever to download is more pressing to me right now.
