The new PS3 will come with her.

The rumor mill is rolling as usual as the Tokyo Game Show continues to pump out a mediocre flow of unimportant news. Fans and attendees are awaiting a large announcement of any kind and now the fingers are pointing at Sony to make it.

Lets look at some information:

-The Playstation 3 is selling poorly and the high price is a major culprit in this fact.
-Sony recently stated they are not interested in having multiple Playstation 3 SKUS on the market.
-Developers are caring less and less about the PS3 due to its lower user base and Sony needs to do something to fix this. Fact.
-Adding rumble to the Sixaxis is admitting fault.

The rumor states the following: This week Sony will be announcing a 40gig PS3 to try and take some Halo 3 thunder away. It may lose some features of the larger system such as USB ports (how will you charge your sixaxisdualshock3?!) and backwards compatibility (I can’t imagine this costs Sony so much) to make the price lower.

The price isn’t sure as of yet, guesses point at a $400 price tag which would be a good bump to sales. Will Sony pull an Apple and drop their systems price by $200 dollars this close to, well, an earlier price drop? Who knows – we will keep you updated.
