E3 08: First Geometry Wars 2 Screens, Details: Two-Stick Shooter Fans FTW; Posted 5 months, 3 weeks ago by Coop

For several months after the system's release, Geometry Wars: Evolved was easilly the best game on the Xbox 360. Several years later it has been dethroned by titles such as BioShock, Halo 3, and Mass Effect, but it still holds a place in many gamers' hearts for the few months it was the only thing to do on the system.

Now Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 is preparing to two-stick-shooter itself onto Xbox live on August 6th with four player local play. This edition will feature five gameplay modes entitled: King, Deadline, Sequence, Waves, and Pacifism, If you had trouble pulling yourself from the original it looks like this one will be even better, so those with addictive personalities need best stay far away.
