Resident Evil 5's shamble from Fall of 2008 to Spring of 2009 isn't unexpected, but after this new trailer waiting even another day is as painful as having your brains ripped out by a raging zombie.Nice explosions, terrible voice acting, and a crapload of blood and gore make for a nice trailer to kick off the E3 happenings.
During their Press Conference Microsoft discussed the earlier rumors of cooperative multiplayer, confirming online co-op with one player assuming the role of Chris Redfield and the other playing as Sheva, the female featured in the above trailer. It is strange from a directorial point-of-view to go out of your way to show both characters playing through the game but never showing them actually playing together, and I wonder if Resident Evil 5's multiplayer is going to be a little more than meets the eye.

As some one living with a parasitic scorpion coming out of my head, I find this trailer racist. Why do those WHITE military operatives have to be shown killing MY people?!?

This trailer is much cooler than the footage they showed at the press conference. Nothing like watching two Japanese guys fumble around and run out of time before showing everything the director wanted to.
