- Lair Analog Stick Patch Confirmed

Following months of rumors, Sony has officially announced details on the Lair update, due out later this month. Wind and Poison dragons will be added to the game, as well as several themes to download and spice up the Playstation 3’s UI. The most notable change is allowing players to use analog sticks to control flight, freeing them from a world of frustration and futility. Previously the sticks were unused, sitting idly on the controller as gamers across the world tried desperately to swing around the Sixaxis to make their dragon flap its wings.
Is this too little too late? If the game had launched with this option things most definitely would have been different for it. Because of the lack of an analog stick and mediocre at best motion controls, the game was lambasted by reviewers and cast aside by gamers. On the bright side, if the patch does work as intended the game is easy to find at Gamestop used for only about $30.00.
We will be sure to keep you posted on the additions when they hit, and maybe the game will earn itself a second review with its new control scheme.
