- Terminator Salvation Game Announced
- Posted About 1 month ago by Coop

Warner Brothers has announced that GRIN Studios, developers of Bionic Commando REArmed and the PC Port of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, will be responsible for the creation of a Terminator: Salvation game, based on the 2009 film. Players will assume the role of John Connor as he fights the forces of Skynet. Warner Brothers says that “The player will be led through a visceral story with extremely polished production values to create a fully interactive Terminator experience.” I’m not exactly sure what that means, but I must say that it sounds like a bunch of buzz words for “It will have good graphics.”
So, is this just another example of a dumb movie tie in, or could this be the one that changes it all? So far the best of the bunch have been Spider-Man 2 and Quantum of Solace, neither of which were really that good. A third or first person adventure set in the Terminator universe might be just what the governor ordered to stop the spread of Iron Man and Ratatouille disappointments.

All I think is that (a)there had better be punch and pie for me to even make an appearance at a retailer for purchase and (b)someone else would have to be paying for it [or, at least, give me the money to make the purchase].
Well, who knows.....
Grin's working on it, and Bionic Commando Rearmed was amazing. So it might have some potential.
