Warhawk Omega Dawn Launches Today: See you on the beach.; Posted 11 months ago by HeyKidNiceRobot

Warhawk is one of my favorite multiplayer games this year. It filled the nice little void between G.R.A.W. 2 and COD4. As much as I loved shooting, driving and flying my way to an incredibly destructive victory, I still managed to forget about it with the rush of big holiday releases.

Today, Sony will be adding the Omega Dawn add-on pack to the PSN store, and there are three reasons to be excited. The pack will include:

1 new map called "Omega Factory" with 6 layouts.
The KT-424 Combat Dropship which can carry 7 soldiers.
Updates on all the previous maps to include the drop ship.

While many of us may have wanted an update sooner, the timing of this couldn't be more perfect. All the big games have been launched and played, you've maxed out your COD4 rank, and Mario has recovered all the power stars. It's time to jump back into Warhawk. Mike, Spencer and I will see you there.

spencer: Dec 20, 2007 09:24AM; too bad i'm leaving this afternoon to visit my parents for the next WEEK, which isn't bad in itself, but they don't have a PS3. and i ain't luggin' my PS3 on the chinatown bus, that's for damn sure. thankfully, gamervision member APERFECTDISGUIZE lives right near my parents, so i'll be able to take omega dawn for a spin on his PS3.

p.s. warhawk totally rules.
