Let's see...

I'm J-Man. I was introduced to this site by Puxel, a relatively long-time online buddy.

I live in the province of Québec, in Canada (anybody else here from La Belle Province?). For those who don't know, it's the province which is mostly French, which I am. English is my second language. I also know a good part of Spanish, and you might as well abandon hope if you want me to try German.

If you can't tell yet, I like languages and writing. I also like discussing culture, politics and, obviously, gaming. I very much enjoy long walks on the beach too... not really.

For the gaming part, might as well come clean. I'm a Nintendo/SEGA fan. My first console ever was a SEGA Genesis that my parents gave me a long time ago. Never had many games for it, but it was enough to get me enticed. I know all Genesis Sonic games in and out. I still love Sonic. I'm one of those people who hope that Sonic Unleashed will be the first in a series of awesome Sonic console games.

Then people moved on to 3D, but my parents wouldn't allow for it, so I ended up playing games on my friends' consoles and partially lost interest in gaming. Then came the DS. That thing brought me back. New input mechanisms, affordable; I got caught by Nintendo's new marketing strategy, and I'm loving it. I have about 20 games for it.

I also have a Wii, since it was pretty much all I could afford. I got a dozen retail games for that one, and a whole bunch of VC and WiiWare games.

So now I'm proof-reading and I realise this is probably more than you care to know, so I'll end this quick.

- I am somewhat prone to hyperbole.

- I really like tactical RPGs, mostly Fire Emblem.

- Yes, that is me in my avatar. 

- And yes, I enjoy tasting beer and other alcohols. 

- You know what? You wanna know something, you ask me. No point in me writing a whole bunch of stuff if you don't care.
