Dude it took me like an hour and a half (at least) to download those maps. Start the download, like, right when you get home, then go make your dinner or whatever. It takes a while.
You know, when I got my 360, and the guy at EB convinced me to get an Elite (they had just come out about a week prior), I never thought I'd need that much hard drive space (hell, it's actually bigger than my computer's hard drive!). But so far I've filled up about 40+ GB. Granted, a lot of that is from ripped music, but still. Even with all the Rock Band songs, maps for various games, and other stuff, the Pro would not have been big enough for me.
Mondays through Thursdays I don't get home until around 10 (so 9 your time), and Fridays I'm home around 5:30 or 6. I'm off on weekends. So whenever you want on those times.

I think that if you're going to pick up LAIR you should pick it up either used or from a friend at a discounted rate (lower than retail). I'm enjoying the game but I see why people didn't enjoy it as much as they wanted to. The control scheme is completely motion controlled with only using the buttons for fighting and maneuver aide. I haven't tried the patch for using the dual shock analog for gameplay but I'm not sure if that's better when it comes to this game. It goes from being a unique game to being just another flight game. It is, however, reminiscent of the Rogue Squadron series (being as though it's the same company) and that's a good thing in my book!
Overall rating for this game is 3/5 gerbils.
Starting from scratch. I get paid on Thursday, so I'll add some points to my account and download them then, if you think we can get a couple of others to play with us. Unless you think we could handle it ourselves!

It's no news that Hollywood doesn't have much originality these days. Look at the remakes coming out for the past ten years. They were definitely going with some demographic in mind, though I'm not sure which one, and created the second blockbuster film of the season.
As I said before..., if you want to see it don't let my (or anyone else's) dislike for the film stop you from doing so.
Oh, yeah. I forgot to ask you how Lair is. I'm buying it used today because I want to fly a dragon THAT badly. I know that it's made completely for the SIAXIS controller (which is why I want to play it) and would rather play the game like that. I heard mostly good things about it.
Aside from me thinking the movie was a bad choice I think that if you wanted to see it before I can't stop you from seeing it now. I just didn't like how they tried so hard for it to be like the others. That's all.
Yeah.. I rented Haze via Gamefly. At first glance, it was mediocre at best (though I had been drinking a few beers at that point.) I tried it again the next day, and you know what? It was horrible! Haze is garbage.. and the only reason I'm happy it came out is because now Free Radical knows what NOT to do when Timesplitters 4 eventually comes out.
I rather they use Haze as the guinea pig instead of TS4, because TS4 is the game with the reputation to uphold.

My favorite Wii game? I'd have to say Brawl. I've gotten the most bang-for-my-buck, and had plenty of good times with the multiplayer. What about you? Your favorite Wii game?

well the greatest series of all time (when they first came out) was either final fantasy if u were playing single
but for co op i would say the halo series...
but for the newer games i would say that for when im hanging out with people or if im just messin around i woulld say that GTA would take the cake
but if im seriously in the mood to destroy some noobs or even just obliterate all others who stand in my way i would definintly say Call of Duty 4 modern warfare for PS3,,, i just love killing ppl..LOL
but i also really enjoy (a lot) rock band
i am a music freak. i own tons of guitars and drum kits.. but i find that there is nothin better than woopin som dude online while playin the Rock Band drums... its fun, and not as mindless as a lot of other games.
as i am sure u can tell by now that i do enjoy Microsofts Xbox and 360,
i am a total Sony man through and through, the ps2 was one of the greatest consoles ever, and the ps3 is even better... oh and i totally hear ya about waiting for the new God o War PSP, i think im gonna end up buyin that myself... the bundle seems to be woth it... so neway
