Did I just hear a bunch of girly shrieks and giggles? Yeah, I think I did.
These Star Wars licensed Lightsaber Nintendo DS stylus packs will be available July 31st. Well, according to Amazon that is (if Amazon says so, then it's gotta be true!). The 3-pack will retail for $7.99. The 2-pack on the other hand will go for a whopping $16.99, but hey, it lights up! And really, that's alllll that matters.
Thanks to Chris, our giggling school girl, for the tip.

I didn't think it was possible!!
Sure they may not be as polished as some of the more notorious renditions, but they're much more creative. I'm going to go ahead and give them a million points for awesome. Hey, don't you question my point system. You don't even know the extent of my point arsenal. They don't call me the Honorable Nikkita Power (to the power of rad!) Point Lady for nothing.

Words cannot express the anticipation I am currently experiencing for the Batman film due out this month, The Dark Knight. The trailers rock, the posters are gorgeous and the marketing campaign is out of this world. I feel like I've must have done something really good to deserve to see this film in just a matter of weeks.
Bike Owner Passes On $100,000 Offer
Tom Mault made a well timed purchase of a 1963 Schwinn Sting-Ray bike for $350. Now the bike is a highly coveted piece amongst collectors, being not only vintage and spiffy, but one of the first off the line. After posting his find on the net, Tom was met with an astounding 1,900 views and offers of up to $100,000 for the bike. A dream come true? Probably for most but Tom turned down the $100,000. Instead, he will be donating the bike to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, for this little bike is a little piece of history.
Now that's an inspiring value system that deserves some recognition. Thanks for giving back, Tom!

Here's a silly little Etsy find. So, the power cord doesn't really need a formal introduction. We use them every day for neccessities and entertainment. But when do we ever give them any special attention? It's about time, don't you think? This 6 ft. long knitted power cord can be worn as a scarf, belt, wrap, you name it or you can simply use it to decorate and warm up your geek space.
This techy cotton and acrylic blend knit is available from the Knit Knit Etsy shop for $25.00.

I had no idea that Tic Tac Toe could be so...so...sexy.
Designer Shahar Peleg makes great use of reflection with the Mirror Tic Tac Toe set. Each piece is actually only a half that is reflected whole while placed on its mark. After years of playing this game on scrap paper and dirty napkins, it's nice to see it get such a sleek makeover. At least someone still respects the X's and O's.

LOVE THE DAIRY!
If The Dark Knight isn't the best Batman movie ever, I think I will be disappointed. I am so excited for that film. Also, if I had a DS, I'd so want those lightsaber styluses...styli? Whatever, they're cool is my point.
