Simple Pleasures - Ducks In Bath

Lenin Lollipops

Uhm..

Vladimir Lenin, one of the most famous communists made historical icon status with leading Russia through the October Revolution and being the first to head the Russian Soviet Socialist Republic. This Bolshevik has been declared as one of the most influential people of the 20th century. So, who was it exactly that thought he'd make a good lollipop? And how the hell do you pitch an idea like that? I guess what it all comes down to is that there are people who believe in Leninism and there are people who believe that Lenin tasted like cola.

Vladimir Lenin Head Pops are available in a box of 24 for $27.95 from Archie McPhee.

Louis Vuiton Trash Bags

...Really?

Now, there appears to be neither an L or a V, so it's safe to say that this isn't an official Louis Vuiton product. They'd never miss the opportunity to post those initials and jack up the price. Still, it's a pretty sad display of humanity if we need trash bags to prove that we are the utmost fancy and "flossin" people around. And if you do actually own anything in the legendary LV pattern, then congratulations, you've just degraded your own belongings.

Cassette Tape Camera Case

Need a camera case but don't want to settle with the boring black velcro case? Don't worry, you can still be spunky while protecting your camera. The Cassette Digital Camera Case from the Librarian Barbarian Esty shop definitely fill your whimsy quota with this cassette tape and padding sandwich on a strap. Yup, there's even a strap and you won't even be embarrassed to carry it around.

Also available from the same shop are similarly designed coin purses. Really the only difference is the strap, so if you don't really care for carrying your camera on your shoulder, you can browse amongst the more colorful coin purse options.

Strap or not, all cassette tape bags/purses go for $20.00.

The Deepest Pool In The World

They don't call is the Nema 33 for nothing. This diving pool in Uccle, Belgium reaches a stunning depth of 33 meters (108.267 feet).

The pool itself consists of a submerged structure with flat platforms at various depth levels. The pool has two large flat-bottomed areas at depth levels of 5 m (16 ft) and 10 m (32 ft), and a large circular pit descending to a depth of 33 m (108 ft).

It is filled with 2,500,000 liters of non-chlorinated, highly filtered spring water maintained at 30 °C (86 °F) and contains several simulated underwater caves at the 10 m depth level.

There are numerous underwater windows that allow outside visitors to look into the pools at various depths.

The complex was designed by Belgian diving expert John Beernaerts as a multi-purpose diving instruction, recreational, and film production facility, and opened in 2004.

Pencil And Ruler In One

Peas and carrots. Milk and cookies. Ryan Seacrest and a pack of vengeful bears. There are many things that go well together, and many of those couples needs the other. The Split Ruler by Cina happens to be one of those things. Stop fuddling around, looking for a sharpened pencil and cut right to the chase with all those projects around the house. Because when you're in the midst of making things fabulous, there is no time to waste.
