According to some spy, it seems as if Microsoft is planning on releasing a new version of their Xbox 360. Assuming this is real, it seems that they are changing the name of the Xbox 360 Arcade to the "Xbox Pure". Along with this comes two new names, "Lean" and "Granite". I'm going to assume that Lean is going to be a fat-free version of the Xbox ala Playstation Slim, but I can only speculate what Granite might be.

This was revealed to be a hoax from Cheap Ass Gamer. Apparently they held a contest to see if their community could start a believable rumor.
Heh, I just looked at the photo from the orig. blog post. The thing is printed on a sheet of paper, this would be in an e-mail at MS. :p
Lean would probably be a good idea actually, to help compete in Japan.

Do we really need more SKUs? This is getting insane.
Lean would probably be the Arcade version or the Pro system. Granite I can see being the Elite.
Other than that it seems as thought they're just renaming their product for companies. No big deal to me.
I love leaked intel. Anyone with knowledge of office memos, marketing slang, and an inkjet printer can fake this stuff.
Still, I'd believe this....
