What am I playing this week? More games than I can possibly find the time for. Seriously, I’m looking at this list, and it’s just not calculating. Between the hours I spend in the office, sleeping, and eating, something has got to give if I want to get enough play time in with all of these titles. Maybe if I get up two hours earlier, only come to work every other day, and skip breakfast and lunch I’ll be able to make a dent in this pile of games that is continually building.
In the leftovers pile, I’m still making my way through Fable II and collecting items in LittleBigPlanet. I know most of you have probably beaten Fable II already, but stop laughing at me. Pretty much everything was put on hold last week for Valkyria Chronicles, so I haven’t made as much progress as I should have. Also, I keep getting distracted by bounty hunting, house buying, and marriages I usually end up regretting. (That’s in Fable II, not real life).
I’ve also started making my way through Persona 4, and so far I really freaking love it. I can easily get sucked into that game for hours at a time. Of course, when I’m playing Persona, that’s even less advancement I’m making in other games, so you can understand my dilemma. As if that wasn’t enough, I’ve got Animal Crossing: City Folk and Left 4 Dead on my reserve list at GameStop, and I will pick them both up tomorrow. While I probably won’t log too many hours on Animal Crossing this week, I am psyched for the zombie apocalypse. Like, really psyched.
And then, for review purposes, there’s Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Tomb Raider Underworld, and Need for Speed: Undercover. NFS and Tomb Raider should be lots of fun, if not brilliant, and the jury’s still out on Banjo Kazooie. I hope that when all is said and done, it will be an enjoyable game, but to be honest, I’m not loving it. Oh, and I almost forgot Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ, which is just ridiculous.
So, yeah. That’s my week. What are you playing this week?

i want to start a Disgaea 3 for game of the year campaign, whose with me?!?!
Fable II, Dead Space, LBP, and a bit of Disgaea 3 here and there.
Lips, Lips, Lips, rock band 2 (as always), Fable 2, and checking out mortal kombat... I would totally be into Left 4 Dead if Xbox Live would let me use my damn gold account...grrr
A heavy serving of Gears 2, plus with the 1600 point card I got from Circuit City I was finally able to get Braid. I got around to finishing Dead Space, so whatever Gamefly sends me in return for that too.
Damn you for having an early copy of P4 ;_;
Finishing up some Mirror's Edge, working on the time trials. Plus, as always, a little Rock Band 2 and NHL 2009 scattered here and there quite casually throughout.

More Gears 2, and at the complete opposite of the spectrum, Animal Crossing.
