There has not been a lot of news of interest announced thus far at the Sony Press Conference, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. One potentially cool piece of information is that fact that Sony is bringing their Resistance series to handhelds, with the release of Resistance: Retribution on the PSP next spring.

Not much is known about the game yet, other than it will be a third-person shooter with, as Coop described it, a "main character wearing an overly-badass leather jacket with a skull on the back." Shooters have had a troublesome history on the PSP, so I'm not really sure what to make of this just yet. We'll have more information, including images and trailers, as it is made available.
