- E3 08: The Sims 3 Trailer

You may have missed the EA Press Conference at E3 yesterday, but no worries! We're bringing you all the highlights that you need to know about. While everyone gets really excited about Mirror's Edge and the fact that id is going to EA, another little gem stood out for me: a new trailer for The Sims 3, which is due out in 2009. Yes, I am more excited about this game than I probably should be.
Graphically, it looks about the same as Sims 2, with many similar facial expressions and good old Simlish. However, anyone who has ever played a Sims game knows that, as the trailer states, the Sims have spent most of their lives indoors, so getting to explore a whole town should be fun. I'm gearing up for lots more mundane everyday activities and woohoo-ing. Woohoo!

I played The Sims 2 towards it's death, so many times. It looks like The Sims 3 is just going to be more, it could have well been an add-on :S
