- Fable 2 Now Reservable
- Posted 8 months, 1 weeks ago by Sarah
Say what you want about Fable, I still loved it. Was it everything it should have been? Not exactly. Was it everything Peter Molyneux promised it would be? Not even close. But it was still a good RPG on a system that didn’t have a whole lot of those, and a title I greatly enjoyed playing.
Shortcomings of Fable aside, I’ve been waiting for Fable 2 for over three years now. Though I’m not holding my breath, I’m happy to say that it looks as though the game may actually make it out this year. GameStop is now offering reserves on the title, with a release date of October 1. This sounds like a tentative date to me, but I’m still hoping that I will be able to play Fable 2 in 2008.
It’s also worth noting that there are two editions that can be reserved, both regular and limited. No word yet on what the Limited Edition will entail, just that it is ten dollars more, putting it at a $69.99 price point. I’m not one to often get suckered in to paying ten bucks more for a game, but this time I just might give in. I may have tuned out a lot of what Peter Molyneux has had to say recently, but I still think that Fable 2 is going to be an epic RPG.
