- Harry Potter Conjures Up a New Half-Blood Prince Trailer
- Posted About 1 month ago by Sarah
Let me preface this by saying that I am an enormous Harry Potter fan. I’ve read the books more times than I can count, attended several midnight releases (occasionally in costume), and have seen every one of the movies the day it was released. That being said, a trailer for the obligatory movie tie-in, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, has me somewhat underwhelmed. While I’ll be lining up to see the movie on day one, the past games have been so mediocre that they tarnish the good Harry Potter name. Maybe this will be the game that finally breaks the mold.
It looks like it has the potential to be all right, but then again, the previous trailers looked good too. I’ll be checking this out come November, when I’m in full-on Harry Potter mania mode, so stay tuned to see if Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince surpasses the other games in the series, or if it fails quicker than Ron trying to perform a spell with a broken wand.

I just think it looks exactly like the Order of the Phoenix game set to the Half Blood Prince story and while the game was entertaining for a little bit, I'd like to play something else.
Looks like another in a long sad line of disappointing movie licenses. I wonder how much of this one will be spent wandering the halls of Hogwarts.
Also, I think "Squiddish" is a million times better than "Quidditch"!
Meh on the whole gaming scene with Harry Potter. The books and movies are entertaining, to say the least, but the games haven't gotten my attention at all. Anyone agree with me?
Ha, I think you mean Quidditch, and yes, that game was awful.
Hmmm yes, let's not mention the Squiddish World Cup game (am I spelling that right?) and hope that this one wíll actually be OK.
