The Disgaea series has always had a reputation for being a little bit absurd, and this trailer for the upcoming PS3 installment in the tactical RPG franchise is no exception. Want crazy attacks? High school antics? Stupid hard levels and ultimate replay value? They’ve got it all! I’ve never wanted to play Disgaea so badly as I do now.



In all seriousness, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice does seem like it might be a pretty cool game. I’ve never been a huge fan of tactical RPGs, but I’m definitely willing to give this one a shot. It’s always nice to see games with a sense of humor; I love that, despite being a Japanese tactics game, Disgaea 3 definitely does not take itself too seriously. Absence of Justice has been out in Japan since January, and is scheduled to be released in the U.S. later this summer, though no official date has been announced just yet. Stay tuned to Gamervision, as we’ll have a full review in the coming months.
