- Wii Pole Dancing Game is... Not a Joke?

A few weeks ago, Gamervision reported on a rumor floating around that a pole-dancing game was in the works for the Wii. Given the time of year, we pretty much dismissed it as a belated April Fool's joke, figuring no way would Nintendo ever allow that to happen on their family-friendly system. Well, it looks like our friends over at Nintendo HQ are too busy counting their money and let this one slip right by, because according to MTV Multiplayer, Peekaboo Pole Dancing is indeed in development.
As far as details about the actual game go, like what the pole peripheral would consist of and how the thing would actually be played, details are scarce. All that is known right now is that the game will be focused on fitness and health, sort of like Wii Fit. Only sexier. Hey, I'm all for the Wii taking steps to ditch its "kids-and-old-people-only" reputation, but I'm not quite sure this is the way to go about it. We'll have to wait and see how this one goes, so expect more details on what is sure to be the highly-anticipated Peekaboo Pole Dancing as we get them.
