- E3 08: Dead Space Lullaby Trailer

There have been a fair number of teaser trailers shown at this year's E3, which have been greeted with a reception that I would label as mixed. So far people have been clamoring about The Sims 3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, DC Universe MMO, and Fallout 3. On the other side of the coin, there's been some, let's call them "reservations" about the looks at Wii Music, the new Ratchet & Clank, and the PSP Resistance.
But for my money, one of the best looking trailers is coming from EA in advance of their Halloween thril-fest Dead Space. Take a look:
After watching that, it's not hard to see that the development team really did their horror movie homework before getting started on this one. This trailer could just as easliy be for a big budget Hollywood horror movie as for a holiday game release. The sound editing is truly scary, and the imagery of the dead body bleeding in a zero-G environment sent shivers down my spine. And that last shot could have been taken directly from Event Horizon.
With every passing moment, my excitement for Dead Space grows and grows. Bring on the nightmares!

I'm gonna hate playing this game....but I simply cannot wait for this to be in my XBOX.
this game looks to be coming along real nicely... and when I say nicely, I mean Bloody and scary.
they should've called this the "all the ways you're going to die" trailer.
