- Grand Theft Auto IV DLC Details
- Posted About 1 month ago by Sean

The months of speculation and rumor are finally over! Rockstar Games has finally announced the name, date and details for the first batch of downloadable content for their mega-smash hit Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360.
Entitiled "The Lost and the Damned", the DLC will be a totally new storyline set in Liberty City. It adds a brand new main character, and a plot that Rockstar promises will "intersect with the storyline of GTA IV". Also included will be new multiplayer modes, weapons, and a refreshed soundtrack. Available as of February 17th of next year, it will be the first of two downloadable episodes for GTA IV on the 360.
"Making these episodes has enabled us to expand the narrative and the experience of interacting with a game world in really innovative ways," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "We hope fans of the game enjoy the new way of experiencing life in Liberty City contained in this first episode."
Bear in mind, Microsoft did shell out $50 million for first crack at the DLC, so it may be some time before you see it on any other port. No word yet on pricing but stay tuned, I'm sure those rumors start up in the next, oh, twenty seconds.
UPDATE: Kotaku has added the following screen shots that sure are purty!
