- PAIN to Get Amusement Park Level

One of the early stand-outs of the PlayStation Store has been PAIN. The simple formula of launching a human being from a slingshot at a crowded downtown area doesn't sound like it would be an obscene amount of fun, but in reality, it's hilarious. Getting a group of people together for a night of aiming, checking tension, and well-rendered human physics (a few beers helps too...) can be almost as enjoyable as any night of Wii Sports.
But from the beginning, although PAIN has added several new characters, there has only ever been one map, the DOWNTOWN area. And fans, although understanding, are reaching their own threshold of tolerance for the number of things that can be done downtown.
But according to the PlayStation blog, there will be a new area added to PAIN in the near future. Not yet dated, the new map is called PAIN ABUSEMENT PARK, and from the looks of this video, it's going to be even more fun than DOWNTOWN.
Again, no date nor price has been given yet. But as the first PAIN was only $9.99, I can totally see spending that much again. Stay tuned for the details as we get them!
