Family Feud pits two families against one another. Players can play against another human player or the computer. Your first choice is to select one of the families to play as and give them a name. The main objective is to finish with the most money and advance to the fast money round.
Before reaching the fast money round there are three rounds to play. When a round begins a question appears on the screen. Questions have multiple answers that are based on a survey of 100 people. Players hit their buzzers and answer the question. The objective here is to give the answer that the most people chose when surveyed. Whoever had the higher ranked answer has the option to play that question or to pass it to the other family.
When a family has control of the board they continue to give answers to the same question in an attempt to get all of the answers given during the survey. If three incorrect answers are given the question goes to the other family who then has one guess to try and find one of the remaining answers. A correct answer will result in that family taking the money for that round but if they are wrong the money goes to the other family.
During the fast money round players get to act as two of their family members and play the round twice. The same five questions are asked both times as the player tries to give the best answers in order to win the most money. If a score is high enough that family gets their name placed on the champion list. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
