Description taken from Game Boy Advance version of this game

Kuru Kuru Kururin is a puzzle game that requires players to guide a small rotating stick through a series of mazes, each more complex than the last. What makes your task challenging is the fact that the stick never stops rotating. You can speed up or slow down the horizontal and vertical movement of your stick, but its rotation never stops.

If you touch the sides of the maze too many times your stick will shatter, forcing you to start from the beginning of the stage once more. Scattered throughout the stages are "refill points" -- large pink hearts that replenish your power. Later stages are littered with cannons, iron spheres, and pistons; each of which serves no purpose other than to hinder your progress.

The longevity of the single-player mode is extended with the inclusion of different power-ups. Once collected, these can be used to change the appearance of your stick. The game also offers various modes of play including a multiplayer mode for up to four players. Four people can compete against each other using only a single cartridge. ~ Gavin Frankle, All Game Guide
