LEGO My Style: Kindergarten teaches early learning in four specific curriculum areas: language, music, math and art. Each of the activities can be explored in five different ways with a unique "buddy" guide who uses music (instruments and sounds), numbers (adding and subtracting), story telling (word recognition and matching), active play, or art (colors, shapes, matching and patterns) to illustrate the topic.
Specific skills covered within LEGO My Style: Kindergarten are numbers and letters, strategic thinking, listening and following directions, problem solving, visual creativity, memory building, similarities and differences, sound and pitch, vocabulary, reading, counting, quantities, sorting, and sequencing among others. Other features include more than 45 activities, 20 interactive surprises, original music, multiple skill levels and a reward system.
Children ages 4-6 can join Mike, Matty, Wanda, Michelle or Jimmy in a program designed to allow them to learn in their own style at an adjustable pace. LEGO My Style: Kindergarten is similar in designe to its companion title, LEGO My Style: Preschool, which centered on children in the 2-4 age group. ~ Michael L. House, All Game Guide
