Designed for use with Sega's Light Phaser gun, Marksman Shooting/Trap Shooting is two games in one. Marksman Shooting is a potentially good game that requires a steady hand, quick shooting and good aim. However, the lack of "innocents" to avoid (such as in Hogan's Alley) and the ability for the player to "cheat" (guiding shot marks until one connects with the bulls-eye is an easy way to beat the earlier levels since shots are unlimited) brings the game down several notches. As with Marksman Shooting, shot detection for Trap Shooting is spot-on. However, the skeet shooting action isn't as enjoyable Duck Hunt for the NES. Bland graphics and sounds round out the not-so-well-rounded package. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
