In Mayday: Conflict Earth, the world once again faces an apocalypse. Three factions vie for supremacy: United Continent of America (UCA), Asian Federation (ASF), and the Southern Block (SBL). The game can be played as a single campaign or multi-player (up to four) adventure, requiring force buildup to meet RTS mission objectives.
In the storyline, set in the year 2051, each faction has unique strengths and weaknesses. Units range from fast, lightweight recon vehicles to slow, powerful tanks. Espionage and research are part of the mix as leaders strive to improve technological abilities. Mission objectives include evacuation, escort, sabotage, and total destruction.
Political and economic differences on the scene of global diplomacy are serious concerns for America, Asia and the Middle East. Factions have independently stable political environments, but aggression between the three is worse than before. Europe is in a state of paralysis, trying to stay out of the rising conflict, and is suffering from riots and unemployment. The entire planet is headed for catastrophe as nations collide and the greatest enemy of mankind is revealed.
Full motion video briefings on new developments in weaponry or espionage offer potential directions for your faction. Options include a battlefield fog of war, and every faction has identical buildings, including headquarters, droid plants, vehicle plants, helicopter platforms, dockyards, radar stations, satellite stations, ore mines, dwellings and repair platforms. Just some of the battle units that can be researched include soldiers, destroyers, protectors, cleaners, masters, speeders, weasels, archers, buffaloes, conquerors, and pioneers.
