Take the ball to the hoop and your team to the championship in Microsoft's NBA Inside Drive 2000. This game uses real statistics and tendencies to mimic all 29 NBA teams, complete with real players and accurate arenas.
With play-by-play by Seattle Supersonics commentator Kevin Calabro and color commentary by Marques Johnson, this game aims to deliver an experience that's almost like being part of a real NBA game.
Multiple moves are at your disposal, along with more complex defensive controls. There are four levels of difficulty, ranging from Arcade to All-Star, from which to choose and you can play in one of four modes: Single Game, Season, Playoffs and Practice. During season play you can simulate the entire year with one click or choose to play certain games while the computer takes care of the rest. It will automatically set up the playoffs when the year is over.
All the graphics are 3D and come complete with authentic uniforms and reflections on the floor. Player moves were motion-captured by Milwaukee Bucks player Ray Allen. ~ Brad Cook, All Game Guide
