After its breakthrough performance on PS2, Sony's SingStar series heads for the hi-def big-time with an original release for PlayStation 3. While following the lead of the earlier games, featuring karaoke-style gameplay with audio and video by the songs' original artists, the PS3's SingStar offers more music and more customization options than its predecessors. Videos are presented in high definition, and players with a USB camera accessory can capture, create, and share their own music video interpretations. Those brave enough to share their creations with the game's "My SingStar Online" community can have their performances rated by other SingStar enthusiasts.
