Super International Cricket is the sequel to the brilliant International Cricket on the original Nintendo. Developed by Beam Software and published Nintendo in 1994, this title takes cricket titles to the next level of realism and features.
Game modes include fast game (get right into it, without any options), One-Day (single one-day game), World Series (series of one-day battles) and finally the Test mode that is cricket at it's original form, the five-day unlimited overs game. Players can also choose from a total of eight teams including Sri Lanka, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, India, Pakistan and the West Indies with a squad of sixteen per team (though they are not licensed players). A before-game report is also issued before matches and includes temp, pitch and weather report and players skills are indicated in bowling, batting, running and fielding.
Game options include three difficulties, fielding cross on/off, computer selection on/off, statistics on/off, music on/off and sound mode as well as ten to fifty over matches in World Series and One-Day mode. ~ Brad Penniment, All Game Guide
