It's a hilarious fight for survival as the evil Black Tanks have taken over the planet in Tanktics for PC! They have spread their dark, iron grip throughout the reaches of the world and now it's up to you to stop them. Armed with a hovering, magnetic crane you must use smarts and resourceful thinking to build an army of tanks that can stop this threat to existence.

Spreading over four eras (stone age, medieval, modern, and future), you must slowly take apart the empire formed by the evil Black Tanks. In each era, you will have an appropriate navigator in control of your magnetic crane. For example, in the stone age you would have a pterodactyl controlling the magnet, while in modern times it would be a helicopter. During your missions, you must find "things" to put in your Part-O-Matic so you can have plenty of tanks to fight off the enemy. This might even mean using the poor, fluffy sheep as ammunition!

Each era contains six missions for you to complete and once you have done so, the next era opens up. There are also eight training and timed trial missions to help you get fully prepared for the game. As the eras keep changing, so will the terrain! You will have to deal with lava, mountains, water, mud, grass, hills, snow, and many other climate and weather changes. To make sure you're comfortable, there is also an adjustable difficulty setting.

Since your games will mostly consist of tanks, you should get to know them as well as possible. Assembling them properly is the key to success and there are 60 different tank parts and 25 unique weapons to get used to. Consequently, there are many different combinations of tanks you can have -- in fact, there are over two million per era! You'll just have to adapt and be ready for anything in the field of battle in Tanktics.
