Kemco's Top Gear series returns to Super NES with more international races and new car customization options. Test your driving skills against a field of 19 rivals in 16 countries. Each country is home to a four-race tournament that has drivers earning both money and points for every top-six finish. Use your winnings to upgrade your vehicle's engine, tires, shocks, body "armor," and gearbox. The action is viewed from a third-person perspective positioned behind the car, as you swerve to avoid obstacles, race to collect speed power-ups, and strategically use nitro boosts to distance yourself from the competition. Top Gear 2 features both solo and head-to-head racing via split-screen display. A password save feature lets you resume progress from the last completed tournament. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
