With its own dedicated server, Nadeo's TrackMania lets players gear up for online racing competitions. Though playable over a LAN for multiplayer action, gamers can log on to Nadeo's server to receive newly created track-building blocks as they are made available. The TrackMania server is designed to promote a player community, where fans can enjoy more intense and exciting tracks, created by other gamers like themselves.

When playing TrackMania for the first time, players will have three environments to choose from -- desert, countryside, and snow -- each of which comes with its own car and unique driving characteristics. In the beginning, players will have only a few building blocks from the catalog with which to create their race track, but as they solve puzzles, obtain medals, post faster track times, and complete challenges, they earn "Copper," which can be used to obtain more building blocks and better race tracks.
