The second alien invasion has been going on for two years and guerrilla warfare has taken on new meaning. Their bases pop up randomly like hornet's nests and spawn robotic killing machines designed to wipe humans off the face of the Earth. As commander, you take control of a fleet of Ultrabots from the Ultrabot war room at basecamp and direct cleansing actions on thirteen different missions designed to attack and destroy enemy basecamps while defending and strengthening your own.
Ultrabots uses a real time, first-person perspective, 3-D modeled gaming environment that puts you in the cockpit of captured and refitted alien war machines left as a result of the aborted first alien invasion. You'll control three types of Ultrabots including the relatively small and quick Scout, used mainly for reconnaissance, the Net Builder (or Scorpion) designed to help your area of operations grow by placing critical net relays capable of reaching far ranging Ultrabots and the primary fighting machine, the Humanoid.
Computer generated maps allow you to plan your tactical strikes for day or night attacks and your arsenal of weapons, both offensive and defensive, range from simple decoys to nuclear missiles.
