Spitfire is a duel between two rival biplanes. Players earn points shooting their opponents while controlling up and down movement from a side-view perspective. Although the action takes place on a single screen, the perpetually moving planes can use borders to their advantage; flying off one side of the screen makes the plane appear on the opposite side for a surprise attack. ~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide
