In Wizard of Wor you control a Worrior who roams a series of mazes within a castle's labyrinths and dungeons. Your job is to shoot all the creatures in a maze before you can advance to the next level. The enemy monsters come in several varieties. You will face machete-wielding Burwors, predatory Garwors and Thorwors, a fleet of foot and nimble of wing Worluck and a fiery Wizard. The Wizard, who appears less often than the other creatures, hurls lightning bolts while teleporting from one section of the maze to another. A radar at the bottom of the screen helps you track the Garwors and the Thorwors, which remain invisible in the maze until directly in the path of a Worrior. You can play this game by yourself or team up with a friend or a computer-controlled player.
