Bio:
This is a forum for celebrating the arcade. You remember: that place where you would go to line up your quarters on the ledge for a chance to play whatever game had just come in that month. Please do not clutter up this group with bitching about how arcades sucked. Start your own shit for that.

Best Games From a Bygone Era
Created by: SeanI loved Marvel vs Capcom. It was 25 cents a play, and I used to beat my best friend at it all the time at the mall arcade. My winning team was Spider-Man and Captain America. Never let me down.
Man, my comic book store has arcade cabinets set up of X-Men (the giant one that takes up a whole corner!), Spider-Man, Captain America, Marvel vs. Street Fighter, and Marvel vs. Capcom. God, it's the greatest store ever, too.
Marvel Vs Campcom 2
just not the same on an at home system
I just beat my wife.........in a best-of-3 Rampart challenge!
Double Dragon, 4-player X-Men, Tempest, Operation: Wolf, Gauntlet, After Burner II, Super Hang-On, Root Beer Tapper, Q-Bert...The list never ends.
And HELL yeah, I remember Rastan!

dude... Rastan? Anyone remember Rastan? Seriously, I spent many $10 bank rolls of quarters on that game and Altered Beast at the skating rink in Cornwells Heights during grade school. Other than those two games, and the Street Fighters, I would rock PinBot with NO delay.
Rampart, A.P.B., Bad Dudes, Discs of Tron, 720, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat II. Home gaming systems will try for a long time to match the experience that could be had by going to an arcade.
