E3 10: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Getting Vietnam Expansion
Fortunate Son Indeed.

At the EA press conference, it has been announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 would be getting an expansion pack. Bad Company 2: Vietnam will take the fight to, well, Vietnam, as the teaser just revealed. So far, very little is known, such as whether or not it will be singleplayer, multiplayer, or both, but we’re going to guess it will be fairly large. The last expansion pack EA released was Dragon Age’s, and that was more than worth the money.
The trailer showed off a chopper flying into the jungle to the song Fortunate Son. Fans of the classic Battlefield: Vietnam likely knew right away what they were getting into, considering the song was featured in the original game. For the record, the chopper did appear to be a Chinook, meaning we should expect a game set in the time period, not just one that takes place there. Sorry, folks, but I really don’t expect to see B-Company making their way to the country.
We will be talking to EA and DICE in the coming days, and if there’s any information to know, we promise we will tell you.
