Epic Boobs: Episode 15 - 12.09.10

Revisionist History.

by 00.19

You know who everybody loves to hate? Michael Bay. Personally, I enjoy the man's movie library. Who could possibly hate on one of the best buddy cop films of all time, Bad Boys 2? How can you stand listening to people who think The Rock is an example of poor filmmaking? What is it going to take for your friends to realize that just because you like the Transformers films, yes that's right, FILMS, that doesn't mean your opinion on classic cinema is any less valid? Pearl Harbor? Yeah, all right. That was a misfire of epic proportions. Those Victoria's Secret commercials? Pretty misogynistic. But I like them. I guess that's sort of the point. Anyway, today, the gang discusses the finer points of changing history to suit the needs of narrative... in the case of the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon trailer.

Looking for a good twice-weekly video podcast to watch? Us too. That's why we created Epic Boobs. Every Monday and Thursday you'll find the four of us talking about the things you need to know about. Why should you care what we think about current events? Because we're awesome. Also, the show is basically Continue? plus Luke, so it's got to be the best thing on the internet since, well, ever.

Starring Luke Brown, Nick Murphy, Paul Ritchey, Dom Moschitti

Star Wars is revisionist history in 2 ways:

First of all, it's supposed to take place long ago in a galaxy far away. So, it's in the past and we have no way of knowing if that past was correct for that galaxy.

Second, they revised THEIR OWN history with the prequels.
