As the 16th of March approached, and our anticipation for God of War III grew, we thought it would be a good idea to go back and find out just how Kratos got to where he is today. Though this franchise is nowhere near as storied as the focus of our previous Game Genealogy, the God of War series is one of the most important action-adventure titles of the last ten years, and is more than worthy of being just the second game to receive the Gamervision retrospective touch.
