Killzone 2's Bullet Commercial Goes Interactive

Despite the claims of Guerilla Games, I never once believed that the TV commercial for Killzone 2, dubbed "Bullet", was truly rendered in game. Though the developers had proven me wrong before when I said there was no way the early footage they showed of Killzone 2 was real, I still refused to believe what they were saying about the commercial. As it turns out, not only will I be able to see how it was all done once the PlayStation Store updates tonight, I'll also be eating crow.
According to a post from Scott Steinberg on the PlayStation blog, this is what we have to look forward to when we download the interactive video:
This demo will provide an inside look at the making of the commercial, enabling you to take control and slow down the action, move the camera axis and pivot, hear audio commentary from multiple selectable sources such as the art director or technical director at Guerrilla Games, and utilize a variety of buffers and filters to see how every single frame of the commercial was created using the game engine technology.
Even though I only kinda sorta like KZ2 (even I can admit the multiplayer is a blast to play), I'm really interested in this download. As you can see in the pic above, this demo is going to really peel back the creative layers, giving us an inside look at just how much effort goes into a project like this. Even if it is but a glimpse, it's definitely something I think all of us should be checking out.
