Avatar Rewards Coming to Left 4 Dead 2
Rumors be damned! Before we even had a chance to read about the rumored Left 4 Dead 2 avatar rewards they were confirmed. Thanks, Valve, it's a slow enough news day as is, we could have gotten two articles out of this, and now we can only do one. Selfish. Check out the video above, revealing the clothing in all of its threaded glory. Actually, it only shows off a few of the options, the rest are posted below in text, which, as we all know, sucks. No images, either, I'm sorry. Really sorry.
- Left 4 Dead 2 Shirt – A Left 4 Dead 2 shirt earned by winning 10 games of Scavenge
- Left 4 Dead 2 Shirt #2 – A Left 4 Dead 2 shirt earned by winning 10 games of Scavenge
- Depeche Mode Shirt – A sweet Depeche Mode shirt earned by rescuing Gnome Chompski from the Dark Carnival.
- Depeche Mode Shirt #2 – A sweet Depeche Mode shirt earned by rescuing Gnome Chompski from the Dark Carnival.
- Zombie Hand Shirt – A scary zombie shirt earned by killing 10,000 Infected
- Zombie Hand Shirt #2 – A scary zombie shirt earned by killing 10,000 Infected
That's right, motherfo's, TWO Depeche Mode shirts. That's not two too many, that's not nearly enough! I'm ecstactic that developers are finally including Avatar Rewards in their games. Sure, it's another thing for fanboys to yell about (since apparently things on the Xbox live Achievements and Avatars mean nothing), but that will all change when L4D2 eventually comes to PS3 and has some sort of Home space. You'll be able to, I don't know, dance with Louis or something. Not with Francis, though, he hates dancing.
