The game that we had been referring to as "Behemoth Game Three" finally has a name, and a new trailer to celebrate such a wonderful announcement. The title is to be BattleBlock Theater (which should sound familiar to those of you who have been paying attention), and the story, apparently, is as follows: "Having shipwrecked on a mysterious island you find yourself both betrayed by your best friend Hatty and captured by the locals. All of this is happening while being forced into deadly performances. This however, is just the start of your problems." I don't know about you, but this sounds a bit too deep for Behemoth, and I'm going to assume this concept is more of a backdrop, instead of a narrative. Then again, the trailer shows what appears to be cut scenes, so it's possible that the developer is taking a few steps away from "arcade" towards a more story-based approach. Maybe they'll even try to provide gamers with some sort of a compelling narrative in the future.

Hopefully things still shoot out diarrhea, though. That sort of thing makes me laugh.

A few months back, two names were trademarked by the developer: Hostage Negotiator and Battle Theater. Now that the second is known to be this new, strange game, I can't help but wonder what Hostage Negotiator is going to be. It could just be a red herring, filed at the same time as the real title to throw people off, but I'd rather think that The Behemoth is working on things nonstop, and will unveil another game in the near future. Fingers crossed, and we'll keep you posted.
