BioShock 2 Viral Site Uncovered
Apparently There's Something in the Sea
by Coop

2K has released a new viral website for BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams, which is due for release later this year. There's static and voices, three pieces of clickable objects, and a world map, which is marked with a date: 2/20/1967. It looks like the game will take place, or at least deal with events, seven years after the original, which plunged into the oceanic depths in 1960.
The three objects are completely filled with information, but, of course, none is entirely straight forward. One is a newspaper article, and details the kidnapping of a seven-year-old girl from her home. The assailant apparently had a red light on his head and was wearing some type of helmet, a note detailed more in the second piece of evidence, a letter from a man whose name is listed as "J. Lynch." Lynch believes that the only evidence found on the scene, a small doll (which is, coincidentally, the third piece of information), is likely some sort of icon representing the attacker.
The doll, of course, is a Big Daddy, and the very same effigy seen in the original Sea of Dreams trailer. It appears that even seven years after the end of BioShock there's still something going on down in Rapture, and the daddies have been sent to the surface to collect more little sisters.
If I were a guessing man, which I believe I'm supposed to be, I'd say that J. Lynch is the protagonist of BioShock 2, and will be visiting the underwater dystopia sometime soon.

so very happy to see bioshock 2 stuff.
I want this game. I want it now. Although, if history teaches me anything it's that I'll buy this the day it comes out then it'll sit for eight months till I finally finish it.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
and, seanasaurus, I hear ya on that one!
Nah. Once I started Bioshock, it was less than three weeks before I finished it. I'm sure I'm gonna tear through this one too.
360 and PS3 simultaneous release, you think?
Still trying to figure out how the multiplayer will work in this.
BioSock MP will NEVER work. Having MP in this is a worse idea than the Beatles Rock Band.
i would hope for a 360/PS3 simultaneous release, i really want this.
