Square-Enix has unveiled the first trailer for the mysterious Blood of Bahamut, their upcoming RPG for the Nintendo DS. From the screenshots it was hard to see what the game would going to play like, instead looking akin to Shadow of the Colossus instead of anything else Square-Enix has done as of recent. After watching the video it looks like the first impressions were half right; Secret of Mana game elements on an epic scale, fighting waves of enemies and, yes, a massive colossus. You even climb on its arm and fight it - cool! I wonder if I get a horse, too.

Color me excited for this, despite still not knowing too much. I haven't had a chance to play any of the really good RPGs on the DS yet, save for FF: Tactics Advanced 2, so it’s far from becoming a stale scene. Hopefully this game comes out in a time without much competition so I can see what Blood of Bahamut has to offer.

Anyone else more excited after viewing this clip? Or will you all be too busy playing Chrono Trigger to care about anything else?
