Braid Finally Out on PCs
When Microsoft unveiled its "Summer of Arcade" lineup for 2008 there was one game that stood out as a complete unknown: Braid. Most ignored it at first, but it quickly became apparent that it was one of the best games ever made. Strange how those things happen. Now, after a good long wait, Braid is available on Steam and Impulse, so, yeah, go get it.
Seriously, go get it. If you haven't already played Braid you're missing out on one of the most unique, thought-provoking platformers ever made. The gameplay is spot-on, the puzzles are sheer genius, and the story, whatever you happen to take from it, will have you thinking for months. The system requirements are likely very low, so there's absolutely no excuse not to load up your favorite digital distribution website and get it.
