XGen Studios flash title, Defend Your Castle, has been announced as a WiiWare port. Preparing for a launch of May 12, 2008, the WiiWare version has gotten a makeover to make it look less like a free flash game and more like a title worthy of a five-dollar price tag. The colors have been upgraded and the title uses some photographs to make it look like a Monty Python sketch.

It looks fun, and anyone who has played the original (which can be found here) can attest to its addictive gameplay. Adding four player support should go a long way to making it better, and with a small price I can’t recommend picking it up enough.
