Nintendo has been acting odd in the past few years. Every E3, they seem to forget to announce stuff, and make up for it in the coming days and weeks by slowly leaking information in an entirely un-epic way. Two years ago, a trailer for Smash Bros. was revealed after the show; last year, Nintendo waited a month before showing off the DSi and Punch-Out!!; and this year, in a Q&A after the show, Shigeru Miyamoto announced that work on a new Zelda is in progress, and that he hopes to be able to reveal the title at next year's E3. Not only that, but he brought with him a piece of concept art, depicting a mature (see: late teens) link and a girl in a blue dress.

When pressed for information, he went on to mention that it would likely support the Wii MotionPlus as long as the peripheral is well-accepted and sells admirably. Seeing as Wii Music ended up selling better than most games on the system, the odds of something that's actually good doing well makes sense, which means Zelda will, indeed, use the Wii MotionPlus whenever it is released.

This means, among other things, that we're now 3/10 on our Nintendo E3 predictions. All I need now is for Nintendo to announce a Kojima project and I'm in the 40's. Come on, I've passed classes after having a 40% for the first half of the semester, there are still a few days left in this thing. We can do this!
