The Fable II Pub Games weren't all that great. In fact, they kind of sucked, and anyone who tried earning money with them got screwed...unless they, you know, cheated. In the days after release, people began to realize that it was possible to glitch the games, earning millions of money they could use, guilt free, in Fable II. It still hasn't been patched, which is strange and in a recent article covering Fable II, IGN discussed the Pub Games glitch, and was quoted as saying the following:

"Just be warned. Molyneux has said that the cheat was no accident and that those who used it to earn their money will be in for a surprise."

Wait, WHAT?! If this is true, and not Molyneux talking out of his ass, this might be one of the coolest things to happen in gaming in a while.

Maybe you will be kicked out of pubs for cheating? Maybe the Pub owners will put a hit out on you for bankrupting them? You know, like Oceans Eleven. Oceans TWELVE?! OCEANS THIRTEEN?! The possibilities are endless, and I hope that this is true, because it would be the most elaborate prank in gaming history.

Fable II is set for release on October 21st, and I don't expect to hear more about this until then, so be sure to stay tuned for an update - if there even is one.
