I'll admit that I'm a huge Bioware fan. Their track record is superb, with each title managing to outdo the last. While everyone else laughed at them picking up the rights to a Sonic the Hedgehog RPG, I was confident in their decision.

Blind fanboyism? Maybe. But that doesn’t mean that they can’t design the hell out of a game. Last year’s Mass Effect was one of the best RPGs I have played, and I have all the faith in the world that their hack-and-slash Dragon Age: Origins will be just as good. The video above is an interview with one of the developers at last week's Penny-Arcade Expo where I ask him about the current project, Bioware's return to fantasy. Spring of 09 cannot come soon enough.
